Feeding at long range

PVA Tubes

T
his rig has been kept simple and uses a basic helicopter rig.
If you're not clear, just ask your tackle shop for them as they come as a unit.

G
et yourself a packet of PVA tubes, not bags. They cost under £3 for a pack of ten.

Cut down the entire length of one edge of the tube, and about three quarters across the closed end.

O
pen up the tube and feed the bomb through the end that has been partially cut open. Moisten and seal that end to lock the bomb outside of the tube.
Add your hook link and bait, along with some freebies to the tube.

Arrange the contents through the tube into a sausage shape. Once you're happy with it, gather the edges together (you may need to trim them) and seal tightly around the contents.

Finally, tie the open end with PVA string for a bit of extra security make sure that all of the edges are well sealed.

You should end up with a reasonably aerodynamic package of free offerings and your hookbait in one slim tube.
