How to get there

From the South: Follow the M6/A74 north until it meets the M8, then follow the signs for the Erskine Bridge, (Toll Bridge, 60p), take the Dumbarton exit onto the A82 and follow the signs for the North. The road will take you through Dumbarton and onto the Alexandria bypass. At the next roundabout you have a choice, most tourists tend to head for Balloch.
