Foulridge reservoir in Colne is a whopping 97.5 acres in size. This doesn't mean that it's impossible to do well, you just have to do your homework.

Species
Bream average 3lb running to 9lb 8oz. Roach to 2.5lb Perch to 2lb. A few big carp, along with pike tench, and eels.

Prices
Day tickets are £3.50 for up to 2 rods. One Junior may fish free when accompanied by an adult.

Tactics
Bream can be found at varying distances from the bank with worm scoring best. Fish from the middle of the lake towards the garden centre.

How to get there
From the end of the M65, go left at the roundabout onto vivary way. Travel straight on until the 4th et of traffic lights, turn left. Foulridge is approx one mile on your left.
